Taking Control of Your Health: Chronic Conditions Self-Management

Description: Developed at Stanford University, this Chronic Conditions Self-Management workshop is fun, interactive, and designed for those who are living with ongoing conditions such as arthritis, high blood pressure, heart disease, chronic pain, anxiety, and depression. You will get the support you need, find practical ways to deal with pain and fatigue, discover better nutrition and exercise choices, understand and evaluate treatment choices, and learn better ways to talk to your doctor and family about your health. If you are at least 60 years of age, join this free workshop, held once a week for six weeks, with each session lasting 2˝ hours. Learn how to successfully manage chronic health conditions alongside others who have similar concerns and problems. You’ll get the tools to improve your health and your life.
